Overview
A competitive scholarship programme for first-year full-time doctoral students in technical and natural sciences at four partner universities in Brno. The 2026 call will select 25 applicants based on prior results and the quality of their proposed scientific project.

The statutory city of Brno funds the programme and JCMM administers it. The application is prepared in English as a single PDF of no more than 12 A4 pages covering the applicant CV, scientific project, and team/facilities. An official Brno University of Technology faculty notice states that the programme can provide financial support of up to CZK 10,000 per month for the first three years of study.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must study full-time at a partner university in Brno, be enrolled in the first year of a doctoral programme no later than 18 November 2026, and study technical or natural sciences. Partner institutions listed by JCMM are Brno University of Technology, Masaryk University, Mendel University in Brno, and the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno.
