About the role: We are on a mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation, growth, and excellence. We are looking for a Building Maintenance Assistant to help perform general repairs, and assist in maintaining the facility to its highest performance. What you’ll do:  Perform general repairs such as fixing doors, patching drywall, repairing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and painting. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues with plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and structural components. Assist in maintaining the facility by assembling furniture, installing shelving, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and document completed tasks. Support inventory management by organizing tools, supplies, and maintenance equipment. Assist senior technicians with more complex repair projects to learn best practices. What we’re looking for:  Handyman Skills & Repair Knowledge: Basic experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance. Proficiency with Hand and Power Tools: Comfortable using tools such as drills, saws, wrenches, and other equipment used in repairs. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively. Team Player: Works well in a collaborative environment, supporting and learning from senior technicians while contributing to the team's success. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting maintenance issues and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Physical Readiness: Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks Other items to note: Communication, Problem Resolution/Analysis, Customer Service, Team/Individual Contributor, Leadership, Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Skill/Effort.
