Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Payments and Financial Counterparty KYC solutions across the EMEA region. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth within a designated territory. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers and support strategic business objectives. Some travel may be required to meet clients and participate in industry events.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and develop relationships with prospective B2B clients.
• Execute a range of prospecting activities, including phone outreach, email campaigns, social selling, networking, and industry events.
• Manage and qualify inbound leads within the assigned territory.
• Conduct consultative sales engagements, including product demonstrations, presentations, and proposal responses.
• Effectively communicate the value and business benefits of the solution portfolio.
• Manage commercial negotiations and support the contracting process.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitive activity.
• Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline and forecast.
• Utilize sales enablement and intelligence tools to improve effectiveness and productivity.

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience in B2B business development, sales, or account management.
• Proven sales experience in SaaS, or data, selling to financial services.
• Knowledge of International Payments, KYC, Compliance, financial crime, is beneficial.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM platforms, and structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) is advantageous.
