The Business Process Management team in Supply Chain is seeking a BPM Analyst to lead end-to-end process and system documentation and improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for collaborating across functional domains to analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and translate maturity gaps into prioritized remediation roadmaps. Partnering with stakeholders, the analyst uses defined project scope and success criteria to ensure scalable deliverables.
The BPM Analyst balances strategic thinking with hands-on data analysis, workflow development, and the creation of comprehensive project deliverables, including process workflows, standard operating procedures, and other process documents. Whether directly developing solutions or partnering with technical implementers, this role ensures the successful fulfillment of business requirements and operational reliability.
Responsibilities:
-
Use the Process Maturity Model as the backbone for assessing process and functional-area maturity, standardizing evaluations and translating gaps into prioritized remediation roadmaps.
-
Collaborate with key partners and subject matter experts to document and analyze processes and system functionality, identifying pain points, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
-
Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to deliver system enhancements and process improvements on time and on budget.
-
Manage the complete project initiation lifecycle—analyze current state, define problems, establish goals, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
-
Suggest future-state solutions that align with and support Amplify’s strategic business objectives.
-
Ensure project success through leadership, mentorship, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
-
Communicate solution objectives and success criteria while providing oversight to teams of up to 15 people, including SMEs, developers, and QA.
-
Document business process requirements, assess process breakdowns and associated risks
-
Develop solutions or partner with technical implementers to ensure all business requirements are met.
-
Track and communicate project status, risks, and decisions to leadership in an Agile, change-laden environment.
-
Support Business Process Management Directors in assessing and improving functional area Process Maturity Levels.
Basic Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
-
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology and toolsets.
-
3+ years of experience in Business Process Management (BPM).
-
3+ years of experience evaluating business processes and leading improvement initiatives.
-
Demonstrated experience creating project charters, documenting workflows, and performing root cause analysis.
-
Proficiency with flowcharting tools and process mapping software.
-
Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Prior experience working within the education technology or publishing sectors.
-
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
