Successful cadets receive AED 5,000 per month during the first two years. After the License Skill Test, Etihad states AED 16,667 plus variable allowances for six months; after line training under supervision, AED 24,000 plus variable allowances, with later progression tied to flying qualifications and seniority.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be UAE Nationals aged 18–29, at least 160 cm tall, hold a high-school diploma with at least 80% overall including passing Mathematics and Physics or a higher-education qualification, meet IELTS 5.5 or EmSAT English 1250, and for male applicants have completed UAE National Service or hold a permanent exemption.
