Complete internship details
The Federal Student Work Experience Program is an ongoing inventory used by more than 200 federal departments and agencies. Roles span administration, agriculture, communications, enforcement, finance, IT, policy, laboratories, ships, farms, historical sites and national parks. Pay is listed at CAD 17.75–38.38 per hour. Placement is not guaranteed; managers search the inventory when vacancies arise.
Eligibility requirements
Full-time high-school, CEGEP, college or university students who will return to full-time studies in the next academic year and meet the minimum working age. Preference is given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with Nunavut Inuit appointed first for jobs in Nunavut. English, French and bilingual roles are available.
