Full job description
What we do. Electric Car Leasing
Why we do it. Greener. Fairer. Future.
We are a market-leading, mission-driven organisation focused on accelerating the transition to a net-zero economy through innovative financing solutions. As we enter a significant period of growth, we are recruiting for a key role within our Capital Markets team to support our increasingly sophisticated funding requirements. This is a high-growth opportunity for an analytical professional looking to build a career in Capital Markets. Joining as an Analyst, you will gain hands-on exposure to complex debt facilities and see the full lifecycle of a securitisation facility. You won't just be checking data; you will be the one directly producing the institutional investor reports and operational deliverables that keep the capital behind a rapidly expanding leasing business flowing. This role requires a minimum of two days per week in our London office.
In this role, you will be the operational engine of the team, owning the production of our investor reporting and helping ensure our funding facilities run accurately and on schedule. Securitisation & Investor Reporting Own the end-to-end production of institutional investor reports, facility utilisation tracking, and loan-level data tapes - you build these reports directly, not just support them - ensuring high accuracy and consistency across all deliverable Fund Sweep & Cash Operations Facilitate facility cash sweeps by validating rental fees, termination totals, and buyback settlements across securitisation structures. Portfolio & Asset Tracking Maintain asset lifecycle trackers (e.g. end-of-lease, defaults, and buybacks) to provide real-time visibility over reserve assets and borrowing base capacity. Covenant & Trigger Monitoring Monitor transaction covenants and performance triggers across securitisation facilities directly, flagging potential breaches to the wider Capital Markets team. Audit & Reconciliation Lead reconciliations between granular loan-level data tapes and facility summary reports, and prepare materials for investor audit requests, identifying and resolving discrepancies yourself. Process & Data Optimization Partner with Finance, Data, and Operations teams to validate data workflows in Databricks and drive scalable improvements across reporting processes.
A degree in Finance or a related discipline, plus 1 - 3 years of work or internship experience in finance, or in a role that involved working with large, complex datasets. You don't need a Capital Markets background specifically, but you do need real reps with numbers at scale. Experience building, auditing, or maintaining spreadsheet-based models and trackers to a solid working level. You understand how a single input error can propagate through a report, and you build in the checks to catch it before it ships. A demonstrated ability to take ownership of a reporting deliverable start to finish, not just review or QA someone else's output. Even at a smaller scale, you've taken a dataset or report from raw numbers to a complete, accurate document on your own. A self-driven problem-solving mindset, with a genuine willingness to learn unfamiliar financial structures quickly and go talk to the right person across the business when something doesn't reconcile. Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting data-driven findings to internal stakeholders without needing it translated for you. Genuine motivation to apply your financial and technical skillset to a business funding the transition to electric vehicles. The reports you produce are part of how that capital actually gets managed.
