Introduction
In Southern Africa Nazarene University (SANU) context, the Career Guidance Centre (CGC) is known as SANU Career Services Centre (SCSC). This facility plays a vital role in supporting students, graduates and other beneficiaries in their academic and professional journeys. The centre acts as an institutional hub, which provides information, counselling, and services to help individuals make informed choices about their studies, career paths and transition into the labour market. By fostering strong connections between Higher Education Institutions (HEI), students and employers, SCSC contributes to the development of a responsive education system aligned with labour market needs.
The beneficiaries of the SCSC activity are:
-
University students, regardless of the study program or form of education, including international students enrolled through mobility programs;
-
Secondary school students in their final years, through partnerships concluded with pre-university institutions or following their individual requests;
-
Graduates of SANU;
-
Interested persons from outside the SANU, following their individual requests.

National Priorities:
The SANU Career Services Centre supports government objectives on education, skills development, youth employment and digital transformation. In addition, SCSC highly complements policies aimed at reducing unemployment, fostering entrepreneurship and building resilient human capital. The programmes offered in the SCSC are very special and contemporary in nature, because they are located in those critical areas sought in the country, like: Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Information Technology, Psychology, Guidance & Counselling, etc. (A closer assessment also shows that these are areas which of late are of global concern), if the National Skills Audit Report of 2022 is anything to go by. The said examples are considered as special about SCSC programmes, in that they aim at addressing the present deficits needed by employers in the labour market, identified in the country, especially as published by The Ministry of Labour & Social Security and The MoET’s National Education and Training Sector Policy of 2018, and also identified by the National Labour Market Skills Project (NLMSP), whose aim is to evaluate the current skills landscape in Eswatini, as in identifying gaps between education outcomes and labour market requirements. Deficits identified in students and graduates gave interests and motivation towards the establishment of this SANU Career Services Centre and the programmes offered as services.

Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Extracted from a public opportunity page using specific title, application/deadline, eligibility and benefit signals. Aggregator/news pages remain review-controlled unless an official provider page is successfully verified.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
