WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Establish a centralized category intelligence system by consolidating and analyzing existing reports/dashboards in SQL, Databricks, and Looker including elasticity models, traceable demand forecasts, and early anomaly detection mechanisms to continuously measure GMV, conversion, and take rate against business objectives and proactively prevent commercial drop-offs.
  • Optimize category pricing, catalog mix, and promotional performance by executing data-driven price/catalog adjustments informed by elasticity and competitive benchmarking, co-designing campaign measurement logic (pre/post incrementality) with Marketing, and analyzing partner inventory dynamics to prevent stockouts and protect GMV.
  • Drive cross-functional strategy execution and commercial negotiation strength by delivering comprehensive market and competitive analytics to support KAM/Sales teams in merchant negotiations, aligning category goals across Sales, Marketing, and Product, and translating complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Demonstrates deep senior analytical expertise and strategic business impact (MUST HAVE)
  • Brings 5–7 years of experience in business analytics, analytical category management, or revenue/pricing strategy within e-commerce, retail, or marketplace ecosystems.
  • Consistently converts complex data into concrete, actionable business strategy decisions rather than static, descriptive reporting.
  • Applies a strong commercial instinct to identify category levers that directly drive top-line growth and unit economics.
  • Possesses strong data proficiency and quantitative modeling rigor (MUST HAVE)
  • Executes and audits intermediate-to-advanced SQL queries (CTEs, multi-table joins, window functions) independently to build custom datasets and validate reporting logic.
  • Acts as an advanced user across modern BI and data platform tools (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Looker) to extract actionable operational context.
  • Applies hands-on analytical modeling techniques—including price elasticity, demand forecasting, cohort analysis, and A/B test evaluation—to model business scenarios.
  • Track record of commercial acumen and merchant negotiation enablement (MUST HAVE)
  • Leverages direct exposure to commercial category dynamics (pricing models, supplier/seller negotiations, and promotional campaigns), preferably in Home, White Goods, or related categories.
  • Understands Key Account Management (KAM) mechanics and merchant economics, enabling them to build data packages that strengthen sales negotiations without managing direct execution.
  • Evaluates supplier inventory cycles and partner dynamics to protect revenue and maintain catalog health.
  • Proven capability in executive communication and data storytelling (MUST HAVE)
  • Synthesizes complex, multi-layered statistical analyses into concise, intuitive commercial recommendations for non-technical leadership.
  • Translates technical data findings into compelling business cases that align Sales, Marketing, and Product teams behind unified category goals.
  • Displays high clarity in written and verbal communication, adapting complex concepts seamlessly for diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Has solid expertise in market intelligence and consumer behavior analysis (PREFERRED)
  • Monitors industry shifts, competitor moves (e.g., Mercado Libre, Falabella), and regional market trends to identify untapped catalog opportunities.
  • Analyzes customer buying behavior and purchasing patterns to optimize product positioning and promotional timing in high-growth markets. WHY JOIN US?
