CERN's 2027-1 Administrative Student Programme has an ideal start date of 1 April 2027. CERN lists a CHF 3,486 monthly net allowance, 30 days of paid leave per year plus two weeks annual closure, health-insurance coverage under programme rules, and possible family supplement and travel expenses depending on circumstances.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be nationals of an eligible CERN Member or Associate Member State, have completed at least 18 months/three semesters in the relevant field, have good knowledge of English or French and remain enrolled full-time during the studentship. CERN currently states that applications from Pakistani, Lithuanian, Latvian, Cypriot and Croatian nationals cannot be considered because the applicable Associate Membership ceiling has been reached.
