We are hiring Certified Appraisers in the following areas:

• Detroit and surrounding suburbs
• Ann Arbor and nearby communities
• Lansing and the greater mid-Michigan region
• Traverse City and the Northern Michigan area

About the Position

Every appraiser starts as a 1099 independent contractor with competitive per-report pay for their first 90 days. That period lets both sides confirm the fit: volume, quality, reliability and alignment with how we work.

After 90 days, our goal is to move strong performers onto our salaried W-2 staff team, especially in high-volume markets. Staff appraisers receive performance-based bonuses and health benefits. The appraisers who earn these roles are the ones who show consistent quality and turn times.

Requirements

• Certified Residential Appraiser License (Required)
• A growth-oriented mindset—eager to learn, adapt, and evolve with the company
• Ability to work independently while remaining open to feedback and process improvements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with appraisal software and market research tools
• A professional and communicative approach, ensuring alignment with company expectations and long-term goals

• Managing assignments efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance
• Utilizing available tools and resources to streamline workflow
• Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients when needed
• Staying up to date with industry regulations and best practices
