As the Chief Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of sewage collection, transportation, and treatment systems. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the design and construction of sewage collection, transportation, and treatment systems, including gravity tunnels and ISTPs.
- Ensure that all work is in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any potential issues.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any concerns and ensure project success.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications :-
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of sewage collection, and treatment systems.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading a team.
- In-depth knowledge of gravity tunnels and ISTPs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working with government agencies and regulations is a plus.
