Overview

A fast-growing financial advisory firm supporting US-based online businesses is looking for a driven CIMA Finance Manager to join their Cape Town team.

This role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and excited to help scale high-growth digital businesses through strong financial management, modelling, and strategic insight.

About the Role

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of complex clients. This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to leadership teams.

You’ll operate in a dynamic environment, working closely with both internal teams and international clients to improve performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations for multiple client accounts
  • Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting and performance analysis
  • Provide strategic financial support to management teams
  • Support business planning, decision-making, and growth initiatives
  • Manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong financial management and budgeting expertise
  • Advanced Google Sheets and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong organisational and analytical capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CA(SA) / CA(SA)-eligible / CGMA preferred
  • Experience working with online businesses (SaaS, ecommerce, agencies, creators) advantageous
