Secure Bag Maldives is accepting September 2026 creative entries from children born in 2014–2023 on the theme Cleaner Islands, Brighter Future.
Complete competition details
Participants create a model, artwork, sculpture, poster or other project showing how island communities can reduce waste, reuse materials and protect the environment. A parent or guardian submits the child's original work. Community Choice awards are MVR 1,500, MVR 1,000 and MVR 500 for first, second and third place; additional recognition awards include Most Creative Idea, Best Use of Reused Materials, Best Island Solution and Young Explorer Award.
Eligibility requirements
Children born from 2014 through 2023 are eligible for the September 2026 theme. A parent or guardian must submit the child's own work, with up to two photos and an optional short video.
