Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client Partner based in Brazil. This senior client-facing role owns a portfolio of U.S. accounts across retention, revenue growth, renewals, and expansion. You will build trusted relationships with client executives and become a strategic partner for their engineering and technology needs. The position combines account leadership, commercial ownership, delivery partnership, and consultative selling. You will identify opportunities to expand accounts through additional engineering capacity, squads, AI delivery, acceleration programs, and advisory engagements. You will also work closely with delivery and talent teams to ensure client commitments translate into successful outcomes. A strong focus on executive relationships, forecasting, margins, and account health makes this a commercially accountable role. This is an opportunity to help shape an evolving account management function while working closely with U.S. technology companies and distributed teams.
Own a portfolio of U.S. client accounts, including relationship health, customer satisfaction, renewals, revenue, and overall account performance. Drive net revenue retention and account expansion by identifying opportunities to add engineers, squads, AI delivery capabilities, acceleration programs, and advisory or governance engagements. Establish and maintain the account operating rhythm through quarterly account plans, QBRs, executive business reviews, monthly strategic account cadences, and accurate account health assessments. Lead renewal and commercial activities, including SOW and MSA extensions, pricing, margin protection, and reliable revenue forecasting. Partner closely with delivery leaders and regional talent teams to ensure placed teams are positioned to achieve agreed client outcomes. Manage changes in team composition or client needs thoughtfully and effectively when a staffing or delivery fit is not right. Build multi-threaded executive relationships across client organizations, extending engagement beyond individual champions to senior and C-suite stakeholders. Act as the voice of the customer, identifying emerging risks, opportunities, and feedback that can inform service offerings and go-to-market strategies. Contribute to the evolution of the account management function by developing effective structures and practices as the organization grows. Requirements: Seven or more years of experience owning client relationships and revenue targets within staff augmentation, IT services, consulting, or enterprise SaaS environments serving U.S. companies. Demonstrated success with customer retention and account expansion, including closed renewals, account growth, quota ownership, and measurable commercial results. Strong understanding of software delivery environments, including Agile teams, engineering staffing, and distributed or nearshore delivery models. Ability to engage credibly with senior technology stakeholders, including VP and C-level engineering leaders, without requiring hands-on coding expertise. Strong command of commercial processes such as SOWs, MSAs, pricing, margin management, and revenue forecasting. Working knowledge of enterprise AI adoption, with the ability to discuss AI roadmaps with executives and distinguish practical opportunities from unrealistic expectations. Strong executive presence, consultative communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills. Native-level English proficiency and comfort operating within U.S. business culture. Experience working within a nearshore or offshore delivery model is desirable. Experience selling or delivering AI, machine learning, or data services is desirable. Portuguese or Spanish proficiency is a plus. Experience building account management structures and processes is a plus, particularly in an organization developing this function. Benefits: Opportunity to own a portfolio of U.S. technology client accounts with direct responsibility for retention, growth, and revenue. Strategic exposure to senior and C-suite client stakeholders. Opportunity to contribute to AI delivery, acceleration, advisory, and governance engagements. Ability to help shape and develop an evolving account management function. Collaboration with distributed engineering, delivery, and talent teams across Latin America. Opportunity to work with U.S. software companies and participate in their growth strategies. People-first working environment focused on professional development and meaningful client outcomes.
