You will work directly with clinicians, hospital IT teams, and clinical application users to investigate and resolve application issues. The role combines technical troubleshooting with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient-care environments. Your work will span application functionality, configuration, integrations, connectivity, and clinical data workflows. You’ll also contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, customer education, and collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering reliable technology that supports clinical teams and healthcare outcomes.
Serve as a primary technical support contact for customers using clinical and oncology applications. Investigate application incidents and service requests by gathering relevant information, understanding clinical workflows, and identifying potential root causes. Work directly with clinicians, hospital IT teams, and clinical application users to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and deliver application education. Support issues involving clinical workflows, treatment planning, orders, documentation, configuration, user access, and related application functionality. Investigate integration and clinical data issues involving FHIR, APIs, databases, interfaces, and connected healthcare systems. Take end-to-end ownership of customer tickets, providing timely status updates, communicating next steps, and following issues through to resolution. Determine whether problems originate from application functionality, configuration, integration, infrastructure, or connectivity, and escalate appropriately to Tier 2 or Tier 3 teams. Maintain detailed and accurate case documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and other support resources. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Clinical Applications, and Implementation teams during onboarding, testing, go-live activities, and issue resolution. Help deliver a high-quality customer experience by combining technical problem-solving with clear, professional, and empathetic communication. Requirements At least 2 years of experience supporting clinical applications, healthcare software, or healthcare IT systems. Experience working directly with clinicians, healthcare users, hospital IT teams, or clinical application teams. Hands-on experience troubleshooting production application issues and supporting Tier 1 or Tier 2 incidents. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the ability to translate user-reported problems into a structured troubleshooting approach. Experience with clinical applications or EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Varian ARIA, Elekta MOSAIQ, or comparable systems. Experience in oncology, radiation oncology, clinical informatics, EMR/EHR, PACS/RIS, or related clinical technology environments is preferred. Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, SQL, or healthcare interfaces is a plus. Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls. Strong customer service, communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of customer issues and coordinate effectively with Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical teams. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple cases, and remain effective in a fully remote environment. Benefits Fully remote position within the United States. Annual salary range of $90,000–$105,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. Vacation, six paid holidays, and four floating holidays per calendar year, prorated during the first year.
