Clinical Director – Substance Use Treatment Silver Ridge Recovery | Mills River, NC Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours Employment Type: Full-Time Lead Clinical Care. Support Recovery. Make an Impact. Silver Ridge Recovery, part of Pyramid Healthcare , is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead clinical services at our Mills River, NC location. Silver Ridge is an adult substance use treatment program serving men and women age 35+ . This is an opportunity for an experienced clinical leader to oversee a dedicated clinical team while helping ensure high-quality, compassionate, and compliant care for individuals working toward long-term recovery. What You'll Do As Clinical Director, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for the program while partnering with facility and corporate leadership to maintain strong clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes. Clinical Leadership Oversee all clinical services, including assessments and intakes, individual and group therapy, family services, treatment planning, aftercare planning, crisis intervention, and utilization review. Provide clinical supervision, training, and ongoing development for clinical staff. Facilitate treatment team meetings and provide guidance regarding clinical decision-making and client care. Support structured onboarding and ongoing training for clinical team members. Develop and maintain clinical programming and curriculum in collaboration with regional and corporate clinical leadership. Monitor client engagement and outcome measures and implement initiatives to improve clinical effectiveness. Program & Compliance Oversight Partner with program and corporate leadership on clinical strategy and continuous quality improvement. Participate in operational and clinical reviews involving documentation, EMR processes, billing, marketing, and other program needs. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Represent the program during internal and external audits. Provide clinical support during crisis situations and assist with on-call clinical needs as required. Team Leadership Supervise clinical staff and ensure appropriate training, support, and professional development. Promote a collaborative clinical environment focused on quality care and positive client outcomes. Work closely with leadership to identify barriers to engagement and develop solutions that strengthen program effectiveness. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related clinical field. Current professional clinical license , such as LCSW, LCMHC, or LCAS . 3–5 years of experience in a clinical leadership or related healthcare role. Experience working in substance use treatment or a similar behavioral healthcare setting. Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage crisis situations and make sound clinical decisions. Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and accreditation standards. Ability to effectively navigate and utilize an EMR. Utilization Review experience, particularly with PPO and out-of-network policies, is preferred. Why Join Pyramid Healthcare?
