Multiple Positions Available:
The AWS Cloud Hardware Development Engineering position involves end-to-end ownership of designing and operating a new segment of accelerated servers for AWS infrastructure. The role requires developing server boards, managing third-party ODMs, integrating hardware components and firmware/software stacks, and ensuring high-quality designs. Key responsibilities include working with customers to understand technical needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, leading design and manufacturing partners, troubleshooting systemic hardware issues, implementing corrective actions, and monitoring fleet performance post-launch. The position demands cross-functional leadership to deliver servers that meet AWS's high standards for quality and performance. (40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $209997 - $215300)

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Must have the following experience: Seven years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Seven years of experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures and experience working with interdisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle. Seven years of experience with server, networking, or large-scale distributed system and corresponding technologies including thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity. Seven years of experience in hardware development focused on system/server architecture and leading technical projects
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $209997 - $215300 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
