Minimum 7 years of relevant cloud security, cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering, or cloud-operations experience. Advanced experience leading secure cloud and hybrid architectures, baselines, continuous monitoring, security-tool administration, configuration management, audits, and operational improvement. For a SecDevOps assignment, the PWS specifies AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional. For a network-focused assignment, the PWS specifies AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty. Strong technical leadership, incident analysis, cost and performance optimization, documentation, training, and Government communication skills.
Minimum 5 years of relevant cybersecurity modernization, Zero Trust, security architecture, or security engineering experience. Working knowledge of OMB M-22-09, CISA's Zero Trust Maturity Model, NIST SP 800-207, Executive Order 14028, and federal Zero Trust guidance. Experience conducting architecture, tool, configuration, process, readiness, and gap assessments across on-premises and cloud environments. Experience developing implementation roadmaps, strategies, metrics, dashboards, schedules, risk registers, and technical recommendations. Strong facilitation, technical writing, presentation, stakeholder-coordination, and documentation skills.
