Institut Néel is recruiting a 24-month CNRS postdoctoral researcher to fabricate and characterize planar superconductor–semiconductor–superconductor Josephson junction test structures.

The researcher will fabricate devices in a cleanroom using electron-beam lithography and wet etching, perform low-temperature electronic transport measurements, prepare TEM lamellae by FIB, support structural characterization and analyse and publish results. The contract starts 1 December 2026. Salary is EUR 3,041.58–3,467.33 gross per month depending on experience.
Eligibility requirements
A doctorate in physics is required, with expertise in nanofabrication and low-temperature measurements, strong written and spoken English and ability to work in a team.
