About the Role
This is a co-founder-level opportunity to own the full technical vision of a pre-seed AI-powered smart home intelligence platform. You will shape the architecture, build the engineering team, and drive product development as the company scales from early-stage through Series A and beyond. Your decisions will directly determine how the platform detects anomalies, optimizes energy, and manages connected systems across residential and commercial properties.

What We're Looking For
-
10+ years of software engineering or technical leadership experience, with 3+ years in senior tech leadership roles.

Proven 0 to 1 startup experience as a co-founder or early CTO, not a big-company-only background.

Strong IoT and embedded systems background with hands-on experience shipping IoT products or systems.

Cloud architecture expertise, ideally AWS, with demonstrated ability to design and deploy scalable systems.

AI/ML product experience applied to real-world, production systems.

Hands-on coding ability across a modern stack including React, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Hardware and software crossover experience, with understanding of embedded and software systems integration.

Smart home, building tech, or energy management domain knowledge is a strong plus.

German or Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: 60,000 to 100,000 EUR annually, discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Co-founding equity up to 5% via an earn-in structure.

Location
This is a primarily on-site role based in Mallorca, Spain, with strong ties to Munich, Germany. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to Mallorca.
