We're looking for an enthusiastic intern to support our communications team in the lead-up to the British Rowing and World Rowing Indoor Championships. This is an exciting opportunity to get first hand experience in the day to day running of a social media and communications team, and experience the exciting buzz of reporting during a major sporting event.
A Bit About You
What you'll be doing:

Writing stories and features about the sport, athletes, and build-up to the Indoor Championships

Help manage the day-to-day social media activity
-
Supporting live reporting/coverage during the event itself

Assisting with general editorial and communications tasks as they come up
What we're looking for:

Knowledge of rowing across all disciplines

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good editorial judgement - knowing what's newsworthy and how to frame it

Comfortable using social media platforms

Enthusiastic, a fast learner, and a can-do attitude
