Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in Leeds. This role involves working with adult patients across a wide range of clinical areas, providing specialist occupational therapy interventions and supporting independence.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions for adults, covering:

Older people, frailty, falls, dementia

MSK and Neuro (including Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis)

Medical and orthopaedic conditions

Independently hold, prioritize, and manage a caseload.

Provide long-arm advice and supervision where required.

Apply knowledge of Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and support patients making unwise decisions.

Assess and recommend equipment provision, aids, and adaptations.

Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
Requirements:

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
-
Broad clinical experience working with adults across multiple specialties.

Awareness/experience of MCA and decision-making processes.
-
Basic knowledge of equipment provision and adaptations.

Car driver with access to own vehicle and business insurance (essential for commuting across hub areas).

Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
