Overview
Upcoming September 2026 CONICET call for doctoral and postdoctoral research fellowships cofinanced with participating companies in Argentina.
Complete research opportunity details
Applications will be received from 15 to 30 September 2026, with fellowships starting 1 April 2027. Doctoral fellowships run for 60 months and postdoctoral fellowships for up to 36 months. Financing is shared equally by CONICET and the participating company at the basic fellowship amount; a company may supplement it. The programme promotes company-based research, public-private technology transfer and researcher insertion into the private sector.
Eligibility requirements
Doctoral applicants may be graduates of Argentine or foreign universities, and in specified cases applicants owing no more than three degree subjects may apply if they complete the degree before the fellowship starts. Postdoctoral applicants must have the doctorate defended or the final thesis submitted pending defence and must complete the defence before the start. Detailed director, exclusivity, prior-fellowship and company-counterpart rules apply.
Tips for this postdoctoral opportunity
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Match your research background to the project, laboratory, supervisor and required methods rather than applying only from the title.
- Prepare a focused academic CV, transcripts, publications and research statement or proposal when requested by the official call.
- Confirm funding duration, stipend/salary, tuition coverage, start date and eligibility for international applicants.
- Contact a supervisor before applying only when the official instructions recommend or require it.
Verification notes
Official CONICET announcement confirms 15–30 Sep 2026. Official programme bases confirm 60-month doctoral and up-to-36-month postdoctoral terms, equal CONICET/company basic cofinancing, and application procedures. No closing clock time is stated.
