The External Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme for Young CONICET Researchers finances research and training at excellent centres abroad. The annual August window runs from 25 to 31 August for fellowships beginning between January and August of the following year. Fellowships last from three months to one year. Eligibility requirements
The programme is exclusively for members of CONICET's Scientific and Technological Research Career in the Assistant or Adjunct categories. Current programme bases state that applicants must not have accumulated more than six months of research-work stays abroad in the previous ten years, counted from entry into the career; the latest required career report must be approved. Applicants must secure conformity/acceptance from the foreign institution and host researcher, submit a work plan, and satisfy the programme's restrictions on previous or simultaneous CONICET external postdoctoral fellowships.
