Construction coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Construction Coordinator based in India. This is a high-ownership construction coordination role supporting multiple residential projects in the US market. You will oversee design development and construction detailing across a portfolio of homes, ensuring design intent translates effectively into site execution. The role focuses on identifying constructability issues, coordinating multidisciplinary documentation, and resolving conflicts before they become field problems. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders working across multiple time zones. Success in this role requires strong construction knowledge, meticulous coordination, and the ability to manage a high volume of work without losing attention to detail. Own design development and construction detailing across multiple residential projects simultaneously. Review drawings and documentation for constructability, identifying conflicts, omissions, inconsistencies, and ambiguities before they reach the construction site. Identify and resolve issues at critical construction junctions to reduce downstream delays, rework, and coordination problems. Coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil documentation to maintain accurate and consistent project information. Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align design requirements with construction execution. Maintain clear, accurate, and consistent project reporting and documentation across the assigned portfolio. Track open coordination items and ensure actions are followed through to resolution without gaps. Manage priorities across a high volume of residential projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivery standards. Collaborate effectively with US-based teams and stakeholders across different time zones. Requirements 4–8 years of experience coordinating or executing residential construction projects, ideally within a developer, architecture practice, engineering organization, or construction company. Demonstrated experience managing multiple residential projects or homes simultaneously in a high-volume environment. Practical knowledge of construction processes and the ability to understand how drawings and specifications translate into real-world site execution. Previous experience working on US residential construction projects, with a solid understanding of American construction practices. Strong ability to review technical drawings and identify constructability conflicts, documentation gaps, and coordination issues. Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines, including structural, MEP, and civil engineering. Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to completion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with architects, engineers, project managers, and international stakeholders. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential problems before they affect construction. India-based and comfortable working with US-facing teams and across international time zones. Familiarity with Revit or BIM tools is an advantage, but strong construction knowledge and execution experience are the primary requirements. Benefits Fully remote, full-time position based in India.
