The MEP Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of a construction project. This role ensures that MEP systems are installed correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Manage and coordinate all MEP installation activities on-site.
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Supervise and manage MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians.
- Collaborate with design consultants, architects, structural teams, and civil engineers to resolve conflicts and technical issues.
- Monitor progress of MEP work against the project schedule and report delays or issues.
- Ensure materials and equipment meet project specifications and are delivered on time.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and safety standards.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Maintain documentation and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.
