Full job description
The Special Service Agreement is home-based and covers 28 working days from 1 September to 15 December 2026. The consultant will work on water-quality assessment and reporting for the Lower Mekong Basin. MRC asks applicants to submit a single PDF containing a cover letter, detailed CV and its application form.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants need a master's degree or higher in environmental management, water quality management, environmental engineering, environmental sciences, environmental chemistry or a related field; at least seven years of relevant water-quality monitoring, management, assessment or analysis experience; knowledge of monitoring programmes and environmental assessment methods; proficiency with Excel and relevant statistical or GIS tools; scientific/report writing ability; and excellent spoken and written English. Familiarity with the Lower Mekong Basin and MRC frameworks is an advantage.
