  • Support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes.

  • Contribute to research and service innovation where appropriate.

  • Ensure all clinical work is undertaken in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.

About the Department

Our client has invested significantly in its pathology services and continues to develop modern laboratory infrastructure alongside digital innovation and workforce development.

The department is recognised for its collaborative culture and places a strong emphasis on clinical quality, education and continuous improvement.

  • Structured consultant induction.

  • Leadership and management development programmes.

  • Mentorship for newly appointed consultants.

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.

  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) or an equivalent specialist qualification.

  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Histopathology, or equivalent specialist recognition for applicants trained outside the UK.

Essential Experience

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Broad training and experience in Histopathology.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and workload management abilities.
