Job Title: Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Grade: Consultant Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire Working Hours: 40 hours per week Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon application

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), and CAMHS settings • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for children and adolescents • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development • Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff • Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation

Qualifications & Experience

• Full GMC registration • Section 12 approval • Extensive experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient and community settings • Proven experience in a Consultant-level role
