At KPMG, our Consulting teams design and deliver a wide range of services that help organisations respond to complex challenges and capitalise on emerging opportunities. We work with clients to improve how they operate, manage risk, meet regulatory expectations and make confident strategic decisions — ultimately helping them perform better operationally, financially and strategically, while standing up to external regulation and scrutiny. As a Consulting Graduate, you’ll be part of diverse project teams delivering practical solutions that genuinely contribute to better outcomes for New Zealand. This role provides exposure to consulting specialisations including strategy, transformation, economics, public sector, risk and Māori advisory opportunities. We have a specific opportunity for a graduate with fluency in te reo Māori to help us deliver to our diverse client base, including Māori. Work alongside client teams to help design and deliver projects that contribute to positive social, economic, and Māori outcomes across Aotearoa New Zealand. Support workshops, hui, stakeholder engagement activities, and project delivery, gaining hands-on consulting experience from day one. Contribute to research, analysis, and problem-solving activities that help clients make informed strategic decisions. Assist with the development of reports, presentations, business cases, and recommendations for a wide range of stakeholders. Build trusted relationships with clients by communicating confidently in both English and te reo Māori, where appropriate. Support the planning and delivery of consulting engagements, helping teams track milestones, manage risks, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Participate in proposal development, community engagement initiatives, and networking opportunities that deepen your understanding of consulting and Māori development. Learn from experienced consultants across multiple disciplines, building a broad foundation for a successful consulting career.

Have recently completed, or are close to completing a Bachelor’s Degree or Level 7 equivalent in Economics, Finance, Law, Management, Data & Analytics or related discipline Have a high level of fluency in te reo Māori and tikanga, with the confidence to communicate effectively across a range of audiences and environments. Have a passion for contributing to social and wellbeing outcomes for Aotearoa. Bring a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Approach complex challenges with a pragmatic, solutions‑focused attitude. Build meaningful relationships through authenticity, cultural awareness, and professionalism.
