The role is based in our beautiful new Sunnyvale, CA office.

Key Responsibilities Develop and own the editorial voice, calendar and content strategy end-to-end for a deeply technical lab, from long-form narrative to short-form content. Manage a social media manager Partner with Communications Lead, Research and Product to shape how new models, benchmarks, and demos are communicated via IFM’s owned channels Must be able to collaborate across a team. Work cross functionally on an annual IFM flagship research report — coordinating with research teams, setting methodology-transparency standards, and managing the report from data to publication. Build out a freelance writing team over time Track metrics Qualifications 8-10 years in content marketing, or research communications, ideally with some exposure to technical/scientific fields (AI, ML, or adjacent deep tech). A track record of developing credible, well-sourced long-form content — reports, indices, technical blog posts, as well as short-form content. Experience working directly with researchers or engineers to translate technical work for a broader audience. Work with a a bias toward action.
