This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, contract management, healthcare technology, and data-driven business operations. You will support revenue objectives by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of complex commercial agreements. This remote-first opportunity is well suited to an experienced contracts professional who combines commercial awareness, exceptional attention to detail, and strong negotiation skills.
Develop a strong understanding of the organization’s products, business model, strategy, and commercial priorities to support revenue objectives through effective contracting activities. Initiate, review, redline, draft, and negotiate a broad range of transactional agreements, including data agreements, SaaS agreements, master agreements, statements of work, BAAs, trial agreements, NDAs, teaming agreements, independent contractor agreements, and vendor agreements. Manage both standard and complex contracts efficiently while ensuring agreements align with applicable business guidelines and requirements. Support competitive bid activities by reviewing RFIs and RFPs, identifying contractual issues, and providing subject-matter expertise for bid responses. Analyze contract terms and conditions, compare historical agreements, assess renewal and amendment requirements, and negotiate revisions using established guidelines and contract playbooks. Coordinate contract reviews with internal subject-matter experts and functional stakeholders, including legal counsel, sales, compliance, finance, accounting, and information security. Provide practical guidance on contractual terms, obligations, commercial considerations, and potential risks. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal leadership and external customers, suppliers, and other business partners. Support the development and maintenance of contract playbooks, templates, processes, clause libraries, and other resources that improve contracting efficiency and consistency. Use contract management systems and related technologies to manage agreements and identify opportunities for process, workflow, and technology improvements. Support implementation and adoption of new contracting technologies and improved enterprise processes. Contribute to internal training and education initiatives related to contracting processes, tools, and best practices as needed. Perform additional duties and responsibilities in support of contracting and business objectives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree combined with at least 10 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and providing consulting support on commercial contracts. Demonstrated experience working with data privacy matters and related agreements. Professional experience in healthcare technology, technology software and services, healthcare, or a closely related industry. Strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to bring complex transactions to completion. Practical, business-oriented problem-solving skills and the ability to balance contractual considerations with commercial objectives. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex terms, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, combined with a strong sense of urgency and ability to deliver high-quality work with limited supervision. Excellent customer-service orientation when supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients. Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple contract engagements in a fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM and contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools. Experience with Salesforce, DocuSign, or comparable business and contract management platforms is preferred. Experience providing training or educational support to internal clients is advantageous. Experience contributing to organizational change, process improvement, or operational transformation is preferred. Experience with government contracts and procurement processes is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment and collaborate with geographically distributed stakeholders. Benefits: Remote-first, work-from-home culture.
