Part time 0.4FTE, fixed term until July 2027Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelinesHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced, client-focused Occupational Therapist with a passion for burns, plastics, paediatrics, and scar management to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau District.The ideal candidate will have experience in burns and plastics/scar management, as well as hand therapy and splinting skills. We provide services across burns, plastics, and paediatrics, and this role will particularly support the rehabilitation of our burn patients.This position offers a fantastic opportunity to practise in a specialised environment, with access to experienced senior therapists who will support your professional development. You will be working within a supportive multidisciplinary team at the well-respected National Burn Centre. The National Burn Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in June 2006 and provides care for patients with burn injuries from across New Zealand.Counties Manukau District is committed to the ongoing education and development of its people.
