To help fuel that growth, we need a Motor Claims Handlerto join our Claims UK team.

Claims First Responders are the first port of call for Prima drivers when something goes wrong. You will speak to customers to understand what has happened and what damage has been done to their vehicle, so that we can put things right. Where the incident has involved other vehicles, drivers, or damage to other property, you will gather a complete picture of that too. You will kick off the process of putting things right, so that our customer can get back on the road as quickly and as seamlessly as possible.

At Prima, we want to make things fast, fair, and straightforward, including when customers need to make a claim. As a Claims First Responder, you will be at the very forefront of making that happen for our customers across the UK.

What you'll do

• Manage your own caseload of third party credit hire claims from instruction through to settlement or litigation.

• Liaise directly with clients, claimants, and third parties to progress cases efficiently.

• Handle quantum disputes and advise on liability issue.

• Review payment packs and have knowledge of verify and being able to confidently use verify.

• Identify and refer fraudulent activity and questionable underwriting.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience (2+ years) handling motor-related credit hire claims from inception through to settlement.

• Familiarity with Verify and being able to review a payment pack.

• Technical knowledge of UK motor insurance coverages, civil procedure law, including the claims process and litigation framework.

• Deep understanding of indemnity, liability assessment, and quantum calculation/estimation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively represent Prima.

• Strong attention to detail, with a problem-solving attitude.

• Comfortable working in a growing / scale-up business environment.
