Full job description
The volunteer will work with a farmer-owned cooperative on crop-production quality, pest and disease management, applied research, data collection and extension services for key horticultural commodities. VSA funds and organizes flights, visas, insurance, furnished accommodation, a modest monthly living allowance and utilities, with pre-departure training and in-country support.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or New Zealand permanent residents under VSA funding requirements. The role requires at least five years of horticulture or agricultural-extension experience, strong crop-production knowledge, and experience in farmer training, extension or applied agricultural research.
