Full job description
The role prosecutes serious criminal matters, reviews case files, prepares indictments and legal submissions, briefs witnesses, conducts legal research, handles appeals and applies Saint Lucian law and court procedures. The notice states a basic salary of EC$86,033.88 per year plus EC$18,000 legal allowance, EC$7,620 travel allowance and EC$291 telephone allowance.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires either a Master of Laws plus a Certificate in Legal Education or equivalent and three years of legal-practice experience, particularly criminal law, or a Bachelor of Laws plus a Certificate in Legal Education or equivalent and four years of legal-practice experience, particularly criminal law.
