Full job description
The post leads and manages assigned staff, prepares serious criminal cases for trial, handles sufficiency hearings, indictments, sentencing submissions and appeals, advises investigators, undertakes legal research, supports legislative review, works on restraint and forfeiture matters and reports on unit performance. The notice states a tax-free Grade 18 Step I basic salary of EC$87,263.40 before specified 2025 and 2026 2% increases, plus travel, legal-officer and telephone allowances, 23 days' vacation leave and a 25% completion gratuity on basic salary.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires either a master's degree in Law plus a Legal Education Certificate and three years' experience in a Grade 15-or-above post or three years' relevant professional experience; or a bachelor's degree plus postgraduate diploma in Law plus a Legal Education Certificate and three years' comparable experience.
