CIPTA includes local invention and young-inventor tracks, a Smart Junior competition and ASEAN categories. Published entry fees vary by category: BND 80 for Local New Invention & Innovation, BND 40 for Local Young Inventor, BND 20 for Smart Junior, USD 200 for ASEAN New Invention & Innovation and USD 100 for ASEAN Young Inventor; no single structured fee is therefore used. Entries require the proposal form, proof of payment, identification documents and the relevant approval/endorsement material. Registration and abstract submission close 25 January 2027.
Eligibility requirements
Open across schools, technical and tertiary institutions, government and private organisations, start-ups, entrepreneurs and the public in Brunei Darussalam, with designated ASEAN categories for regional participants.
