CSIRO is accepting applications for six paid postgraduate mineral-resources research internships in Perth and Melbourne for the 2026/27 program.
Complete internship details
Six research projects are available: four based in Kensington, Perth and two in Clayton, Melbourne. Placements run for 12 weeks and may extend to 16 weeks to suit university requirements, within the September 2026 to June 2027 window. Interns receive research supervision and present their findings at the end of the program.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must remain enrolled in a PhD or MSc at an officially recognized university worldwide for the entire internship and have their academic supervisor's approval. International applicants must have appropriate immigration approvals.
