Responsibilities include monitoring Early Childhood Education centres, supporting compliance with minimum standards and policy, reviewing curriculum implementation, planning training and capacity building, inspections, work planning, progress reporting and collaboration with practitioners, parents and other stakeholders. The notice lists annual salaries of EC$76,936.56 at Grade 15 Step 1 and EC$72,404.16 at Grade 14 Step 1.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must have either a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Education Leadership or a related field plus a Certificate/Diploma in Education and three years supervising early-childhood programmes; or a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Studies, Education or a related field plus a Certificate/Diploma in Education and five years of teaching-service or early-childhood-programme experience.
