Full job description
- Support the planning and execution of daily inbound logistics operations involving both road and container transportation.
- Monitor and coordinate shipment arrivals, warehouse unloading activities, and inventory receiving processes.
- Track operational performance indicators and contribute to capacity planning and workload balancing initiatives.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute operational reports to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, customs, and planning teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics activities.
- Follow up on customs documentation and operational readiness requirements to prevent delays.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, investigate root causes, and support resolution activities.
- Maintain and improve logistics tracking tools, operational dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Ensure data accuracy across logistics databases and operational monitoring platforms.
- Participate in process improvement projects focused on efficiency, service quality, and operational excellence.
- Assist in analyzing warehouse throughput, vehicle turnaround times, and unloading performance.
- Support communication with logistics service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely information flow.
Qualifications and requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, International Trade, Economics or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a passion for working with operational data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
