We are seeking an organised, personable Customer Care Advisor to join our team at Thistle Equine. This is a full-time position based at our branch at Syke Farm, Symington however on occasion you may need to work at one of our other branches at Inchinnan (near Glasgow Airport) and Strathaven. Flexibility to work at any of our branches will be required.

Thistle Equine brings together the expertise of Avondale Equine, The Equine Vet Clinic, and MBM Equine to offer outstanding care across Central Scotland. With decades of experience, state-of-the-art facilities, and a dedicated equine-only team, we support horses at every stage of life—from family companions to elite competition athletes.

We provide:

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Customer Care Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

  • 8.45am-5.00pm Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a high level of customer care by liaising between clients and our clinical team
  • Meeting and greeting clients and their horses
  • Booking appointments and managing the practice diary
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries
  • Processing payments for services and products
  • Managing cash flow and completing end-of-day banking tasks
