About The Role

You will be a part of the Financial & Trading Data Quality unit that focuses on securing the quality of financial information for our stakeholders in Finance and Risk areas in the most efficient way. We expect you to run existing data validation tools, perform data quality monitoring routines, contribute to data quality root cause analysis and proactively seek improvements.

As A Data Analyst, You Will:

  • Perform data validations to identify and capture incorrect data transferred from source systems to the General Ledger

  • Extract and analyze data to support the accurate and complete delivery of business processes

  • Execute month-end closing procedures, including the preparation and posting of all necessary journal entries and financial bookings

  • Manage Data Quality Portal tickets, acting as a liaison between teams on relevant data quality issues

  • Attend meetings to discuss data quality issues and provide relevant status updates

  • Collaborate closely with involved teams to provide effective support

  • Support finance-related projects and participate in testing activities

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have:

  • An academic degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics

  • An understanding of basic accounting principles is essential

  • At least 1 year of experience in data analysis or a finance-related field

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

  • Proficiency in MS Excel

  • The ability to deliver results under tight deadlines

  • Flexibility and a strong sense of ownership

  • Knowledge of banking products (considered an advantage)
