Full job description
The role covers server-rack installation, hardware break/fix, network troubleshooting, ticket-based incident work, scheduled maintenance and change management. It participates in 24x7 shift rotation and supports racks, servers, networking devices, cabling and related data-center equipment.
Requirements & qualifications
Amazon lists computer networking knowledge including fiber troubleshooting and a degree, diploma or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline among the basic qualifications. Preferred experience includes data-center facilities, Linux/Unix scripting, network equipment, server hardware and related operations technologies.
