Process Overview An Enterprise Data Integration Platform is a comprehensive software solution designed to facilitate the process of transforming raw data into valuable insights and actionable intelligence within an organization. It provides a centralized platform for managing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data from diverse sources, formats, and systems. Informatica is an ETL (Extract Transform and Load) tool powered with On-prem (Power Center) and Cloud (Intelligent Data Management Cloud) capabilities to support all ETL needs to the application teams The Informatica Administrator role will support the DPS DI Groups , which has an Enterprise shared platform and a few Application dedicated platforms. This position will be responsible for administration of informatica Suite tools -providing production and operational systems support to Clients and Stakeholders. This position includes platform support, application configuration, monitoring, capacity and utilization, application security, archiving, backups, disaster recovery, end user support, training and documentation based on Customer's corporate policies, industry best practices, and business requirements. Job Description Informatica platform engineering role supporting Extract Transform and Load (ETL) Informatica PowerCenter and Intelligent Management Cloud Platforms. Requires experience in managing Informatica PowerCenter and Intelligent Management Cloud Platforms which include health check, maintenance, outage handling, upgrades, vulnerability remediation. Required good experience in Linux shell scripting and python coding. They require the ability to interact, develop, engineer, and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with clients, development teams, vendors and other partners. They will be responsible for managing platform operations across all environments which includes upgrades, bug fixes, deployments, metrics / monitoring for resolution and forecasting, disaster recovery, incident / problem / capacity management. Responsibilities Design platform topologies and Install informatica and its dependent software on LINUX servers as part of Design & Build and install Informatica patches/Fix packs as part of Software upgrades/fixes Configuration of operating system level and application related environment files Create projects, manage users/groups/privileges, setting project level variables as part of Application on-boarding Establish connectivity between Informatica and various database servers based on Application requirements Proactively work on request/issues reported by Application team members and complete them within defined SLAs Provide Informatica/LINUX support during server/service outages Co-ordinate with external teams (System Admin, DBAs) and perform maintenance activities (software patching, configuration changes, upgrades, etc) in defined maintenance windows Migrate Informatica and LINUX assets to UAT and Prod servers by following all the deployment formalities and change management measures Automate Informatica and LINUX administration processes to reduce the manual effort Performance tuning of Informatica platform/servers Create detailed process and technical documentation Co-ordination with support partners/Vendors to resolve issues Assist and resolve production issues as part of support Follow best practices, platform usage standards and guidelines Requirements Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA Certifications If Any : NA Experience Range : 4 to 7 years Foundational skills: Informatica admin, Linux, Oracle, Autosys Excellent Communication skills written and verbal and Understanding of derivatives Desired skills : Decent Knowledge of excel Work Timings: 12:30 to 21:30 Job Location: Chennai, Hyderabad
