About the Role: Data Migration Specialist As a Data Migration Specialist , you will ensure new Podium customers start with clean, accurate, and well-structured data from day one. You’ll work closely with Onboarding Managers and Customer Success Managers to extract, clean, transform, and import data from legacy systems into Podium. This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll work with Python, spreadsheets, and AI tools to streamline processes and solve complex data challenges. You’ll also play a key role in resolving high-priority customer data issues quickly and effectively. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end data migrations: Extract data from third-party systems (CSV, APIs, database exports), clean and normalize it, and upload into Podium Automate and scale: Use Python (pandas) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets to transform and validate large datasets Leverage AI tools: Use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and internal AI systems to accelerate data cleaning and validation Improve processes: Identify patterns and propose improvements to make migrations faster and more accurate Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Onboarding and CSM teams to define requirements and ensure data accuracy Handle escalations: Troubleshoot and resolve post-launch data issues with urgency and clear communication What You’ll Bring Required 1–2 years of experience in a data or technical role (Data Analyst, RevOps, BI, Technical Onboarding, etc.) Strong Python skills (pandas preferred) for data cleaning and transformation Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas) Experience using AI tools to improve workflows Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work in ambiguous and fast-changing environments Nice to Have SQL experience Experience working with REST APIs SaaS onboarding, implementation, or technical support experience Familiarity with CRM or business data models Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary starting from Q9,000.00 Full benefits package (health coverage, Legal benefits, free parking) Office in Guatemala City with a collaborative team Onsite role in Zone 10, Edificio Interaméricas Monday–Friday schedule - Australian hours (11am to 8pm GT time) Why This Role Matters A poor data migration can lose a customer on day one—while a great one builds trust immediately.
