Data Operations Coordinator (Night Shift)

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.  We are seeking a Data Operations Coordinator for our night shift to lead coordination for offsite robot data collection across an expanding portfolio of residential sites. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including facility preparation, prop management, robot operations, and service engineering—to ensure seamless and efficient data collection sessions. This position is dedicated to the night shift, starting between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM (subject to minor operational adjustments). Local travel to offsite residential locations throughout the broader Bay Area is required during shift hours; candidates must have access to personal transportation. Responsibilities: You will manage end-to-end operational coordination for on-site residential robot data collection sessions before, during, and after execution. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining real-time communication with field teams to address live operational challenges Troubleshooting non-technical and operational issues promptly to minimize downtime Coordinating with facilities, operators, and staging teams to ensure timely logistics and asset delivery Providing status updates, escalating critical blockers, and reporting progress Driving continuous operational improvements by documenting procedures, flagging recurring issues, and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and tracking tools Requirements:  Ability and willingness to travel to offsite locations across the broader Bay Area using personal transportation 2–4 years of experience in field operations, site supervision, construction management, event production, or related hands-on coordination roles Proven leadership presence with experience directing multiple cross-functional teams Strong real-time problem-solving and critical decision-making skills Clear, concise, and professional communication skills Ability to thrive under pressure in dynamic, fast-paced operational environments Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to team success Bonus Qualifications: Experience with robotics, film/TV production, or technical field operations Familiarity with logistics coordination Enthusiasm for scaling cutting-edge humanoid robotics technology This is a six-month fixed-term agreement, with potential for longer-term opportunities depending on your contributions and interests. The base pay for this role is $30.00/hour. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
