Dental Recontracting Professional - VSP

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dental Recontracting Professional - VSP based in United States. This part-time, remote role supports the recontracting of dental providers onto updated agreements. You will manage provider communications, explain contract terms, and help ensure agreements are completed accurately and efficiently. The position combines contract negotiation, financial analysis, provider engagement, and administrative coordination. You will work independently within established guidelines while handling varied assignments and occasional ambiguity. The role is part of a limited-term Variable Staffing Pool supporting business needs through mid-2027. It is well suited to professionals with dental office, insurance, or managed care contracting experience who communicate confidently with providers. You will contribute directly to maintaining effective provider relationships and supporting network contracting objectives.

Initiate, negotiate, and execute dental provider contracts and agreements as part of a recontracting initiative. Communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates clearly to dental providers. Analyze the financial implications of contract terms and explain relevant impacts to providers and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate contracts, records, and supporting documentation within designated tracking systems. Manage assigned contracting activities independently, following established guidelines and procedures while escalating issues when appropriate. Support provider network development by helping identify and recruit providers based on network composition and business needs. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Contribute to special projects and other contracting initiatives as required. Requirements 2–5 years of experience negotiating managed care contracts with physicians, hospitals, or other healthcare providers, or experience working with insurance in a dental office. Demonstrated ability to analyze, understand, and communicate the financial impact of contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates. Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining contractual or financial information to providers. Ability to work independently with minimal direction while exercising sound judgment in situations that may require interpretation of established guidelines. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Availability to work hours aligned with Eastern or Central Time. Experience with value-based contracting is preferred. Experience working directly with dental offices is preferred. Compensation range of $65,000–$88,600 per year , with actual compensation dependent on location, skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors.
