Full job description
The role collaborates with the National Archives of Zimbabwe, National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe and other stakeholders on management of national records, museums and historical monuments; supports Heroes Day and state burial preparations; and develops systems to keep heritage sites and archival processes aligned with statutory, regional and international cultural-preservation standards.
Requirements & qualifications
A bachelor's degree in cultural heritage, history, archaeology, museum studies or a related field is required, together with at least six years of experience at Officer level and knowledge of heritage systems. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
